The National Gallery, London

We were recently commissioned to supply and fit a printed, frosted safety film to 226 glass panels which were being installed in the roof of the National Gallery in London.

The printed, frosted safety film was to match existing original etched glass panels. To achieve the match, a number of samples of printed frost were supplied to the architect to enable them to accurately match the exisiting roof panes. From measurements and supplied by the architect, we reproduced the existing design, then printed the safety film to the colour chosen. Our team then applied the film in the factory of Patent Glazing who are installing the roof panels - pictures to follow soon!
